Titanët janë zakonisht disa kate të gjatë, duket se nuk kanë inteligjencë, gllabërojnë qeniet njerëzore dhe, më e keqja, duket se e bëjnë këtë për kënaqësi dhe jo si burim ushqimi. Një përqindje e vogël e njerëzimit mbijetoi duke u murosur në një qytet të mbrojtur nga mure jashtëzakonisht të larta, madje më të larta se Titanët më të mëdhenj. Fluturoni përpara në të tashmen dhe qyteti nuk ka parë një Titan për më shumë se 100 vjet. Adoleshenti Eren dhe motra e tij birësuese Mikasa dëshmojnë diçka të tmerrshme ndërsa muret e qytetit shkatërrohen nga një Titan kolosal që shfaqet nga ajri. Ndërsa Titanët më të vegjël vërshojnë qytetin, dy fëmijët shikojnë të tmerruar teksa nëna e tyre hahet e gjallë. Eren zotohet se do të vrasë çdo Titan dhe do të hakmerret për të gjithë njerëzimin.

Definition
